It’s true, there is nothing a bard can do that many other classes can’t do as well as, or better. All anyone needs a bard for is their buffs.

Bards are at 86%? thats not that fast. my HLF druid runs at 85% all day. bards might be fastest but not by alot.

I didn’t actually ask at my Best Buy, the first store I tried. They may have had one. But in the local BB, the PC games are in the DVD section (why? I dunno) and the console games with the clerks who actually seem to be gamers are in the back. I just figured I’d head to the nearby mall and talk to the folks at a real game store.

Might go back today and find shelves and shelves of them :/

Just occurred to me that, since I don’t raid any more, I can take away a lot of the points spent on the Troub tree, largely useless for non-raiders, and put them toward running faster :)

I had a similar experience with EBGames yesterday. Walked in around noon and they had zero copies. After a little shuffling around, they finally claim they had 2 non-preorder copies in earlier but they were sold already.

Today, I checked Best Buy’s web site for the closest store and they reported having copies in, so off I went during lunch. Longs of WoW boxes, Hellgate, probably 20 boxes for the LotRO Moria expansion, quite a few WAR boxes and two Rise of Kunark EQ2 boxes. I had an employee look it up and pull one out of the back. At least they still had it.

Wasn’t I supposed to install the DVDs and patch? Oh, you mean just use the patcher and skip using the DVDs at all? I dunno, I kinda thought I would be saving time, but I guess that wasn’t the case.

I didn’t have any account with the expansion enabled until I tracked down a box and brought it home, so, well anyway, I didn’t think to run the patcher while at work.

It was okay, I don’t mind spending more time in W101. It was pretty slow in W101, a friend popped in for a couple of the fights, popped out again, otherwise it was quiet.

The bear is bigger than the race car, though not much, and looked to be pretty detailed. I’m contemplating giving it a paint job.

Just curious, why did you install the DVD’s and patch?

We started the patcher before leaving for work yesterday morning and it was all patched up when we got home. Just needed to update Profit and EQ2 Maps and we were off and running.
